Feisty Fatale graduated from George Mason University in 2008. Though her focus was on art, drawing, media, and film, during her last year she realized how much she enjoyed writing. Fascinated with the arresting visual of emotion and death, Feisty set out to create provocation. Through sex, music, politics, murder and mayhem, Feisty explores the world and her own fucked up mind. Not only is she influenced by current events or personal experience, but the exploration of what can be possible in a world we know nothing about.
Even though Feisty considers herself a writer, she has still never given up on art. She draws every day, any way she can. Making the most of her environment, she has created "office art," the creation of art by using office supplies such as post-its, white out, pens, highlighters, tape and paper clips. She also delves in the use of collage, and frequently draws in ink, using lots of color. Feisty spends some of her overwhelming creative energy creating flyers for local band USED UP as well, or thinking up crazy ideas that she can film in a hurry so she can edit them together. In 2009, she submitted her story, "The Sun," to the U.K.-based literary magazine Bottom of the World, and it was accepted to run in their third issue, page 24. |
